What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations received before May 18, 2020 are fully refundable. Any cancellation made after the 3 week deadline, will follow the schedule below:
May 18th – 3 weeks prior to academy 50% refundable
May 25th – 2 weeks prior to academy 25% refundable
After May 25th – no refund
Cancellations received after the start of the Academy, are not refundable. Registration is transferable if you are unable to attend the Academy. To transfer registration, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I get a copy of the presentations?
PDF copies of the presentations will be available for download via Whova, upon facilitators' approval. Due to potential proprietary information, some presentations may not be available.
When is the last day I can register for the Fraud Academy?
Online registration will be open until June 7, 2020.
Do I have to register for sessions?
Fraud Academy attendees can visit any session June 9 - 10. Attendance on June 8 requires additional registration fees. (Does not apply to Analyst Academy I)
Do I have to pay when registering, or can I be invoiced?
Payment must be made when registering.
Can I register at the Academy?
You will be able to register on-site for the Fraud Academy only. We will charge a $50.00 administration fee.
Where are the Academies being held?
The Fraud Academy will be held at The Jung Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana. Head to Your Visit to learn more.
What is the nightly rate?
The Jung Hotel is offering NICB guests a nightly rate of $139.00. Extended stay rooms are available for $189.00 a night.

What's the difference between the Fraud Academy and Analyst Academy I?
The Fraud Academy and Analyst Academy I will be run as two separate Academies at the same location. The Analyst Academy will have the dedication of an analyst-only curriculum, with the same benefits of the Fraud Academy.
Do I have to register for a Workshop?
Individuals will need to register in order to attend a workshop.
Are Workshops included in the Fraud Academy registration fee?
No, individuals will need to pay an additional fee of $195.
How long are the Workshops?
Each workshop will be an all-day session on Monday, June 8.
No. While they are co-located, they will be conducted as separate Academies with specific training objectives.
Are the sessions being recorded?
The session will not be recorded.
Is there reserved seating for those with differing abilities?

What is Whova?
Whova is Fraud Academy's official event app. This is an event application that helps make you more productive. Fraud Academy information will be easily accessible with Whova. Download the app to view the agenda, set your personalized schedule, network with other attendees and view documents before or after an event, and more.

Do I need internet in order to access the app?
Whova can be accessed anywhere, anytime. You don't need internet in order to browse the app.
My company won't let me download apps to my phone, is there a desktop version?
Whova offers a web based version of the app.
Will the agenda be on the app?
The full agenda will be available on Whova.
What is the dress code?
Business casual attire is required. We recommend bringing a jacket or sweater, as some rooms could be cool.
Will I have Wi-Fi access?
Wi-Fi will be accessible throughout both Academies.
Are meals included?
Lunch and snacks will be provided every day. Please let Learning@nicb.org know if you have any dietary restrictions.
