ANALYST ACADEMY I

June 9 - 10, 2020

The Jung Hotel & Residences, 1500 Canal St. New Orleans, LA 70112

Our Analyst Academy I will be co-located with the Fraud Academy.

Co-location means individuals will receive the benefits of an analyst-only curriculum, in addition to the networking and social opportunities of the Fraud Academy. While both will be held in the same location, their curricula will be specific to each Academy.

The Analyst Academy I will provide systematic techniques for identifying and analyzing potential fraud in data. Students will integrate theoretical data analysis with practical applications to further the development of investigational strategies, claims decisions, and where applicable, referral to NICB or law enforcement.

This is a basic course for new insurance fraud analysts with up to 3 years of experience. Supervisors responsible for insurance fraud analytical functions may also benefit from attending.

In order to attend the Analyst Academy I, individuals will need to complete all prerequisites prior to the start of the Academy.

Registrants will be enrolled in the Analyst Academy I

learning path via NICTA.

Prerequisites must be completed by June 5, 2020.

If you do not have access to NICTA, contact Learning@nicb.org.
